Can you catch hpv from smoking after someone who has the infection?

Possibly: Worse than that, you could get lung cancer, emphysema, bladder cancer, kidney cancer and pancreatic cancer, all linked to cigarette smoking. But at least you think you will look cool while you smoke...

Doubtful: There appears to be a requirement for skin to skin contact and abrasive force before this tissue surface germ can affix itself and trigger an infection. Saliva also has some anti-infective capabilities. If a person has an altered immune system from HIV or chemo, they may be at risk. Otherwise I doubt it would be an issue.
