For you or baby?: For a baby, there are many advantages. Decrease in risk of foreskin closure over the tip, decreased risk of penile cancer, decreased risk of std's in the future. And the procedure is minimally painful if handled right, quick recovery. For an adult, the benefits are still there, but the recovery is more difficult and it's a more involved procedure. Consult with a urologist for more information.
