Tumor definition: Tumors are growths of tissue - like fat or epithelial lining cells that grow uncontrollably and can be hadmless if benign or dangerous if malignant like a colon or breast cancer. Your doctor will perform a biopsy and send the tissue to a pathologist who can diagnose the tumor and recommend curative or palliative follow up.
