Increased stress: During the course of a day, you build up stress from school, work, family and social obligations, etc. By the end of the day, when you go to sleep, all that srtess comes to a head. So, when you go to sleep or begin to dream, a panic attack strikes. How much is a " a lot of water"? Too much water can pose serious health hazards. I hope you're seeing a qualified doctor for the panic attacks.
