Fever cause?: N order to determine the cause of his fever he needs to see a doctor so he can determine cause. A blood test, urinanalysis, and throat may be in order.

Many possibilities: Statistically, the most common cause of fever in a kid will be a viral infection.Realistically, the only way to identify the fever's source is for the kid to have an evaluation by a physician. If the kid acts normally, engaging in play & taking fluids & feeds well you can monitor the issue at home. If this changes an evaluation could be planned.
