Usually within 10 d.: Usually within ten days of stopping, but rarely up to ten weeks. Persistent diarrhea should prompt eval by your regular doc.

Difficile makes a toxin that can make you very seriously ill. If you have persistent diarrhea, blood in your stool, fever, or abdominal pain along with diarrhea, you should seek medical care as soon as possible to see if you need testing and treatment for c. Difficile.
