Patience: This swelling is a response to trauma. Avoid irritating it by putting it at rest. If can soak in epsom salts that might help. If warm could try gentle cold not massage. Nsaids or herbal anti-inflammatories like curcumin, thyme, clove, oregano. Eat healthy, don't worry, worry aggravates everything. Your body can heal this, don't get in the way.
