Sex after C-section : Most OB docs will recommend waiting six weeks after any type of delivery to have sex. However, bleeding can also occur at any point during that six-week timeframe. You likely have nothing to worry about, but you should contact your delivering doctor to let them know what's going on.

Too early for sex: You should wait 6 weeks to have sex after a delivery, either vaginal or c-section. Even if your abdominal incision looks like it has healed, the uterus is still healing. You should see your physisican to make sure that you don't have an infection.
