Not likely SE: Stimulants can dry out mucous membranes (give you "cotton mouth"), which may make you want to drink more; however, they do not cause dehydration, which is too little water in the body. Chewing gum or hard candies (sugar-free, of course) may help stimulate your salivary glands. Effect should lessen with time.
