Isolation: Agoraphobia is a fear of being outside a "safe" environment usually due to panic attacks. In severe cases, someone can become completely house bound, because they are afraid they will have a panic attack. Panic attacks may occur for no reason, but are generally borne out of extreme anxiety or fear. By definition, a panic attack includes physical symptoms.
