Start slow, increase: Start with sips of fluids (no caffeine; flat 7 up ok) to prevent irritated stomach from stretching (=vomit). Gradually increase amt. For solid foods, try brat diet: banana, rice (cooked, no milk), applesauce, toast (plain, unbuttered). Pepto-bismol may also help settle stomach. If no improvement, see fp for evaluation & treatment.

Sort of: The broth is fine, avoid the goodies in the soup (noodles, carrots, chicken). Save those until afterwards. Chicken noodle soup is a great post-colonoscopy food!

Can someone have a clogged basilar artery but the carotids are clear?

Could be, but: It is likely that atherosclerosis would be present both in anterior and posterior circulations to some extent, but there could be more obstruction in vertebral-basilar system than in carotid areas. The syndome called "tip of the basilar" is such an isolated issue. A fully blocked basilar artery could be a seriously malignant stroke and could contribute to rapid demise.

Bedsores neglect: The issue is whether all pressure ulcers are avoidable. Most professionals believe that there are unavoidable pressure ulcers. The issue of 'neglect' is a legal term used by the plaintiff attorneys. Some wounds are not preventable. One extreme example is a kennedy terminal ulcer (google the term). There are many risk factors that a patient can have that are'tcorrectable and that snfs cannot cure.

How can I clear my annoying house allergy?

Indoor allergens : Indoor allergens are usually dust mites, pollens, molds, cockroache, and/or animal danders. Environmental control, minimizing exposure, may be of some help as are topical/oral medication. If those are not adequate allergen immunotherapy is usually indicated. In rare extreme situations you might need ro move, but the "grass isn't always greener". Need to see board certiified allergist.
