Tough to do: Infertility is one of the hallmarks of pcos. Once treated, pregnancy is possible.

YES and YES: Once properly treated, patients with pcos can conceive and have a healthy pregnancy. In addition to the difficulties getting pregnant, patients with pcos are also at risk for miscarriage and gestational diabetes. Proper diet and medications can decrease these risks. Do not give up hope. I have many patients with pcos who have had successful pregnancies.
