PCOS and Fertility: The combination of Insulin resistance and high testosterone is pcos can negatively affect ovulation and fertility. This does not make you infertile. Treatment of the condition with lifestyle changes like diet and exercise and medications like metformin improve the problem and increase the likelihood of conceiving.

Yes.: You are likely not ovulating regularly which is common in women with pcos, and therefore having difficulty getting pregnant. Treatment options are different for women with pcos who are trying to conceive vs not wanting to conceive. Talk to your doctor about what treatment is best for you.
