Depends: On what cv exercise you are doing. If it hurts your shoulder, don't do it. Walking or running should be fine. If you are using an elliptical trainer or swimming, it may strain your injured area further. Use the common sense rule of thumb here - if it hurts, don't do it! find an alternative.
