It depends/no prob..: I don't think this is a problem if the test was neg. (presumably for occult blood). If is likely due to the diet, and the baby's dicestive system has a lot of adjusting to do. If you are still concerned and the stool stays black or the baby is weak, go back to your doctor for another test and a work-up. Good luck.
