RF Radiofrequency: Rf is radio frequency energy and it is used to tighten the body, specifically the dermis. The effect occurs by applying energy to cause heat induced contracture of the deep skin. The results are not generally dramatic and if significant excess skin is present, a patient is best treated with excision of the skin.

RF treatments: It refers to radiofrequancy treatments to tighten the skin. It does so by heat and stimulates collagen production. Other treatments that work on similar concept are thermage and ultherapy. The are all limited since they are not surgical. http://www.talroudnerplasticsurgery.com/face/ultherapy-miami-fl/.

That depends: on your goals. In general, however, radio frequency used to tighten skin is not nearly as effective as surgical options for addressing loose skin. A true body lift will address loose, hanging skin and excess fat around the stomach, outer thighs, hips, and posterior buttocks.
