Thyroid -miscarriage: Thyroid problems can definitely be a cause of miscarriage. This among many other factors are evaluated in the examinations given to the mother. If a problem is found it is usually treated immediately.

Yes: If your thyroid activity is already low, you have increased risk of miscarriage. Also, it's important to remember that if you are already on thyroid supplementation, once you get pregnant, you might need to be retested and have your dose adjusted higher.
