Many things: Dry mouth conditions can be caused from a rainbow of issues. You could be taking a medication such as some high blood pressure meds or anti-depressants that can cause dry mouth. That would also lead to a dry throat feeling and difficulty . If your not fitting into any of these catagories consult you md or dds for other causes.
