Treatment needed: Not usually. Once the sutures close in the skull it difficult to reshape the skull.

Craniosynostosis: It really depends on the type and and how "mild" it is - in a metopic ridge they often will improve to the point they are not noticeable. A plagiocephaly usually does not correct and if really "mild" to the parents one can follow it.
