Let me explain: Itregular shape to vertebral shape these are asymptomatic incidental findings present since childhood. Can usually be filed under interesting but not helpful they require no follow up or treatment.

No need to worry: A schmorl's node is a protrusion of disc material through a weak area in the vertebra. They are very common (about 1/3 of population). They are usually asymptomatic, though occasionally if they develop acutely they can be a source of pain.
