Could be anything: Need urgent investigation , examination by your physician to find the cause of symptoms from colitis to cancer. Please see your physician for tests including endoscopy of colon.

A serious problem.: At your age, colorectal cancer is not common. However, any rectal bleeding is serious and needs to be checked right away. See a gastroenterologist, you will need a colonoscopy(look into the colon) with possible biopsy. Good luck.
