Cilia vs microvilli: Cilia are tiny hair-like structures such as those in respiratory tract that sweep mucus & foreign particles out. Microvilli are the tiny protrusions of the intestinal membranes that aid in nutrient absorption, secretion, etc. Also found in kidneys to help regulate absorption.
