A member asked:

Does defect in any of the cytosketal structures related to immotile cilia syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

That IS the Primary: defect in all of the dysmotile cilia syndromes. It is the cytoskeletal componennts that make up the cilia which are defective. see also: http://www.uptodate.com/contents/primary-ciliary-dyskinesia-immotile-cilia-syndrome. And believe it or not Wikipedia has a nice over view with reference articles.
