Cause of constipatio: How many days have gone by since her last dirty diaper. If its been more then2-3 days you child could be constipated. The next question to consider is why? Nya's she been ill? Does she eat a diet that is milk laden? Are you toilet training her? These are some of the question you should consider.M ake an appointment with the pediatrician to discuss these problems.

Can constipation really cause that much of a problem long term? Had recurrent utis and an ultrasound and ct scan of kidneys, bladder, etc. come back normal. Said constipation caused three months of back and side pain and uti symptoms. Second opinion?
