Big words: It means you have a small (dimunitive) hiatal hernia, and that it is able to slide through the opening in the diaphragm to be sometimes above (wrong spot) and sometimes below (where it belongs). If they are larger, they are more likely to get "stuck" above the diaphragm (and cause more symptoms).
