Unlikely to happen: Unless he had an active lesion on his finger i can't see how he would be able to spread it this way. The herpes germ may or may not have passed to his finger (rarely does)& the passage of 10 days assures enough time for the germ if present originally to dry out or be washed off long before your contact.
