Recommend evaluation: Right lower pain after menses might be gyn related and should be discussed with your gynecology to rule out any related issues such as ovarian cysts or endometriosis, depending on age. From a surgical standpoint it would be also prudent to be examined further to exclude the possibility of any hernias in that area, and to obtain more information i.e. How long it last, what makes it worse etc.

Hernia muscle strain: Self limiting pains that radiate and force us to stop moving can be from a hernia or from exertion and muscle strain. Common hernia's in women are femoral in origin.
