Yes or : The teeth & or jaw joint may cause significant ear pain. There is some crossover in the nerve that assesses pain from this area as a branch supply's the ear drum while another supplies the gum line & jaw.

See your dentist!: If you have a sinus infection, the rearmost upper teeth may hurt. I would see your dentist to be sure that you don't have a temporo-mandibular joint disorder (tmd). Clenching and bruxing can make the teeth sore and affect the jaw joint. I have seen patients complain of a feeling of "water in their ear". A bite appliance resolved the issue.
