What is the recommended age for my sister, 13, to have coffee?

Wive's tale: There's folklore that coffee is bad for youngsters but i think it's hocus pocus. I'm not aware of anything harmful for a 13 year old. We'll see if any pediatricians reading this disagree!

No Specific age: Caffeine is the main stimulant in coffee & is found broadly in many products. From chocolate to tea & cola products to coffee it is in many things kids ingest every day. It is not a necessary nutrient in the diet of anyone at any age. In some cultures, a robust coffee is part of early childhood, some never tolerate it's use. I don't recommend it in kids, but i don't rale against it either.
