A member asked:

My triglycerides levels are 657. is this bad? i'm a 34yr old male that is not over weight & i excersice 2 to 3 times a week.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yeah thats kinda bad: In the long term, triglycerides in that range can contribute to heart attack and stroke. In the short term, triglycerides above 600 can actually lead to acute pancreatitis. This should be medicated down for now. Exercise more and limit the saturated and trans fats in your diet.
