Slow versus normal?: Has structural pathology been ruled out in your colon or rectum, and have you had an assessment of GI transit (slow versus normal "constipation"), of metabolic diseases (low thyroid, low adrenal), & of possible abdominal pathology external to the gut? Continued use of irritant suppositories may do more harm. If stool softeners, miralax, (polyethylene glycol) & diet modification don't help, please get checked by doctor.

Water: Drink plenty of water and take daily Miralax and stool softeners until resolves. It is very common after deliveries. It will improve.

Agree with Dr.W: Fiber foods: You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods. http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/high-fiber-foods/art-20050948
