Can klonopin (clonazepam) cause weakness in the arms and legs?

Indirectly: Drug side effects could include drowsiness, dizziness, asthenia, fatigue, spaciness, and the side effects could result in decrease of stamina and exercise intolerance. This is not a true muscle loss, but may feel that way. If you are having side effects, contact your doctor.

Yes: Klonapin has multiple different actions upon the body. It decreases anxiety, can help with insomnia, can be used as an anti-seizure medication. It is also a muscle relaxant. Many people notice that they are clumsy while taking klonapin. I would not be surprised if the klonapin's impact on your muscular systems is what is making you feel weak in your arms and legs.
