Equinus: If i'm picturing what you're saying correctly, you have equinus, which means you are unable to dorsiflex your foot on your ankle to at least 90 degrees. This can be caused by a tight achilles tendon, or bony impingement in the front of the ankle. It can cause you to put more pressure in the toes and ball of your foot when you walk. It can also cause pronation, which leads to other pathology.
