Wrist pain: Consider arthritis, tendonitis, synovitis, or sprain as most likely cause. Get good x-rays & exam from orthopedic surgeon.

Agree: Dr. M. Is right. Without trauma and with a "deformity" present, other causes such as he mentioned are more likely. A good history needs to address exposure to infections as well, foreign travel etc. Radiographs are necessary, too.
