Weight gain: Changing to an antipsychotic that is weight neutral in conjunction with weight management should be considered in consultation with your provider.

Concur with: earlier answer. There are some antipsychotics (like zyprexa) that have been associated with very significant weight gain. Other's tend to be more neutral. Review your antipsychotic medication with your provider to see where it lies on the weight change spectrum. Many of my patients work with a nutritionist if weight gain is a problem.
