6 weeks: Usually by your 6 week postpartum check your uterus is back to normal size. Breastfeeding helps the uterus to shrink and also decreases your bleeding after delivery.

4 to 6 weeks: By 6 weeks the uterus has returned to normal, but may be a bit different from before the pregnancy.
