What happens in prolapse of the uterus after giving birth?

Ligament relaxation: The supports of the uterus(ligaments) get severly relaxed allowing the uterus to descend towards and sometimes outside of the vagina. It may require surgical correction.

Postpatum prolapse: After delivery, all pelvic organs are very lax, large and vascular. One has to wait 6-12 weeks for 'return to normal'.All young people have a good deal of resilience of their tissues and many organs which looked impossible to reduce do regress into their original position-specially with use of kegel's exercises. My advice will be to wait and watch!
