I have this strange ringing in my ears for a few days now also redness from something called tinnitus. what can i do to cure this?

See a doc: If you have tinnitus and your eardrums are red it may very well be that there is an ear infection or possibly there was trauma to the ear. In any event a trip to the doc is warranted for evaluation and determination if you need antibiotics or other treatment.
