A member asked:

How long would a frenulum take to heal and will it heal on its own?

3-5 Days: A frenulum is a small attachment of the underneath of the tongue to floor of the mouth. Most small injuries to sides of the mouth heal completely in about 5 days.

Tongue or penis?: Either will heal on it's own. However not unusual for penile frenulum to tear in men with an uncircumcised penis. This is liable to tear again again ; again unless it is fixed by frenuloplasty by a urologist.
