Not aware of any...: Orthognathic surgery, in and of itself, should not change your menstrual cycle. However, the associated anesthesia and recovery might delay your period, although i'm not aware of any direct relationship between the two.

Not a known risk. : With any female with possibility for pregnancy, then there is potential risk for fetal development and reason not to perform surgery. Discuss with your surgeon about known risks and any other of your concerns.

Not necessarily: The surgery itself is not related to your cycle, but general anesthesia administered during the surgery can alter many systems in your body. Check with your doctor.

Never heard of it: Have never heard of this being a direct factor. That said, stress can effect your cycle and the stress of surgery may have had an impact on you.
