ABSOLUTELY NOT: It is your choice to have IV sedation or just local anesthesia. It's more dangerous to be sedated then not.

Safer: Elimination of general anesthesia (going to sleep) or sedation ....Less drugs is so much safer. With local anesthesia you will feel absolutely no pain. This option is less complicated & lessens any restrictions before & after.

No: Of the thousands of patients we have seen. Most have local anesthetic, regular novocaine and are awake. Its very safe.
