Perhaps: There are several causes of bronchiectasis. My first question is whether you are seeing a pulmonologists and what kind of work up have you had. The proper treatment includes bronchodilators with antibiotics based on culture results. Make sure you are seeing a specialist.

Not really!: Brochiectasis is permanent. Individualsc can be treated, such that chronic recurrent infections are less frequent, but will not return to normal.

Bronciectasid: Make sure that your doctors have checked you for allergy, sinusitis, reflux and zenker's diverticulum. All of these alone or in combination can continue to affect your already compromised lungs. Also try to eliminate irritants and toxins... Fabric softeners, dryer sheets, scented products and dust. Sometimes you need an ent, allergist, a GI specialist and a pulmonologist to maximize your lungs.
