Healing if treated: If the scabies was treated, it usually takes a week or so for the skin to heal. It can still be irritated for a while because the mite's remnants and feces (sorry) is now dead, but still there. The body gets rid of it in a week or two. Rarely another treatment may be needed. Be sure you washed clothes and bedsheets!

Creeping: The itching and the creeping senstation under the skin can persist sometimes for weeks, after the scabies has been treated. Make sure you applied the cream 2 times, a week apart for proper eradication and use a moisturizer and oral antihistamines for the itch.
