A member asked:

Can you have kidney infection if you have blood in urine but no bacteria found?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly but unlikey: It's uncommon, but their are other non-bacterial causes of UTI like tb. But blood in the urine isn't specific for just uti, it could also be a sign of kidney stones, kidney disease, or rarely malignancy. Best to see your doctor and have that further evaluated.
