Inflammation: There are many possibilities to the sore on your tonsil. It could be from your immune system reaching to a virus or bacteria. It could be an aphthous ulcer, or even a burn from food. Please see your physician to make sure you are not infected.

Tonsillitis : That is probably an inflamed tonsil that requires an antibiotic treatment, you should see your doctor for medications prescription.
