Maybe: If you are talking about roundworms, often there are more than one. They do not always come in pairs. Get a stool test to look for worm eggs. If they are present, you still have worms.

Effective treatment.: A large part of the world's population is infected with helminths (aka worms) such as ascaris, whipworm and hookworm. Diagnosis is made from a stool sample and using a microscope to look for the presence of eggs. Albendazole and Mebendazole are the drugs of choice for treatment. Infections are generally treated for 1-3 days. These medications are effective so follow-up w/ md as instructed.
