Yes, and low: Clenching your teeth can result in tension in the muscles of the jaw, head, and neck. Commonly one will have headaches, tightness in the temples, neck stiffness, and sore teeth as symptoms. As for meningitis, the likelihood it would result from decayed teeth is exceptionally low. That doesn't mean, however, that you should ignore the decayed teeth because other serious infections can result.

Yes and Low: Tooth clenching can lead to TMJ problems which often increase muscle spasms in the head and neck region. It can also involve migraine like headache symptoms. The chances of getting meningitis from a tooth infection are small but it can happen. Best bet is to see a dentist or oral surgeon for an evaluation pronto.
