Don' be: Mild tricuspid incompetence is very common in the general population. It simple means that some blood is crossing the valve when it should be closed. The imaging equipment used today is sufficiently sensitive that small amounts of blood crossiing a valve the wrong way is detected even when it is not a problem. It is useful to discuss with the physician who ordered the test.
