Only if symptoms : Persist or develops a fever, bad breath, or rash. No hurry to treat a strep throat, as it takes weeks to develop glomerulonephritis or rheumatic fever. We don't treat it because it hurts, we treat it to prevent rheumatic fever or rheumatic ht dz.
