Really a spider?: Spider bites on the finger can be quite painful, as the finger doesn't have a lot of room to swell. Infections in a finger can spread easily through the hand. Watch this very closely. Sometimes, infections with MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus) look exactly like a spider bite.
